Well done Neil a decision had to be made and the right one i believe. One question though. You came past me today with your detector swinging at a speed of 100 mph. Is this your own technique or is there a manual available.

hi malcom you are quit right in what you said. me and my mate steven were out detecting a couple of years ago i had a lovely siganal dug down to see what it was.to my amazement i found four little bottles me like an idiot picked one up  to have a look what was in them. wrong thing to do they turned out to be incendiary bombs we  put them back very carefully. we then went to tell the farmer and phoned the police when the military tured up. there were 60 bombs there. they evacuated the small village dug out the bombs put them in skip and blew them up  the moral of the story dont mess with something you know nothing about.
