OK guys and girls before we get carried away, here is a quick bio of my detecting history. I started detecting in 1978 and my first 3 years were predominantly concerned with beach hunting, I worked in France for 5 years, in Ireland for 3
and in the US and Australia for another 3 all of this took a toll on my hammered count (especially the States and Oz lol)
And in there somewhere I gave up for 8 years to raise a family. But just when your thinking much much lower, in 1984 I found 76 hammered off one field alone. Now that should help Undecided Grin
