The sun was shining and I was in the mood for some coin shooting so over 3.5 hours I had 100 good targets
and a good couple of dozen rubbish signals.

Besides 2 x £1 coins, a pile of 2p pieces I had quite a few Victorian coins plus Edward pennies.

Out popped an 1897 silver Half Dollar, a silver 3d, and a silver sixpence, plus Scooby Doo hair clip!  Grin

I'm chuffed with the silver half dollar as you don't find many of that date!

Thats a busy site Bob - love the half dollar.

Always nice to find silver not from these shores! It makes you wonder how it got here.

cheers

The coin that I thought was a silver sixpence turned out, after cleaning and research, to be a 1900
silver 50 centimes French coin. Quite worn and I'm proud I was able to ID it without Peter the Pie's
help !!!  Wink

I was pretty whacked after 2 hours but kept on. Great exercise.
