Morning Morg123.

The author Andy Sabisch is now a Detectingwales member. If you ask him nicely, he may be willing to answer any immediate questions you have until you can buy the book.

Cheers

Thanks for the interest in the newest book I've released which is on the Quattro and Safari.  It expands on the material that was in the original book on the Quattro which went out of print about 2 years ago.  The new book was released about 2-3 weeks ago.

Joan Allen should have some inventory of the new book although I did not see it on their website when I just checked . . . a call or E-mail to them may be warranted.

I do offer it on our website (sabischbooks.com) as well as other dealers have it on theirs - a search for "The Minelab Quattro and Safari Handbook" should help.

If anyone has any specific questions I can answer, feel free to contact me or post and I will try to answer them.  If you post a question and do not see an immediate response, send me a PM to prompt me to check the forum  Smiley

Thanks for the welcome and I really hate at times to check out the forums from across the pond and see what you guys (and gals) are finding . . . . here something 100 years old is cause for celebration . . . for you, 100 years old just clears the "modern" tag.

Thanks for the post Andy.

I had the Safari for a while and what a lovely machine. Totally different machine from the Quattro which
I didn't like.

I only sold it on as I didn't like the weight and on some occasions I would like liked to have been able to
switch to 3 or 4 tones but there's no option on the Safari.

Good luck with sales as I've no doubt you put many hours into getting the book together.

Many thanks for the info. Not being to clever with computers, I had a hard time tracking your book down. I could find it on American sites no problem at all just didn't fancy waiting for delivery! Il give joen Allan a ring now and get one on order now.

Many thank, Steve
