Anyone know of any good sites for Fossils near to Swansea ?  Last time searched was at Whitesands Bay - found some interesting bits and pieces but are there any good sites nearer anyone knows of Huh?

i know its not closer but theres a beach near Penarth in cardiff, theres loads there,just lying around!! havent been there for a few years tho!!!!x

Yeah Penarth ?  Not so near Swansea as I'd like kiddo !!!  Southerndown is a good source also but not so near now either  Cry

Got the tools just need the place near now - a dinosaur or two wouldn't go amiss either !!  big bucks for them  Grin

never say never!!!! i was just amazed how they were all just there on the beach, trust me to come back with 2 huge bits of rock with the fossils in them...they look like ammonites (is that the right word?) although im no expert!!
you gotta have a dream!! although mine is to find a hammy at the moment (easily pleased!!! lol)
