i was still getting used to the ace, i think im better off using my p.i. machine for the beach, went to the small side about 2 weeks ago, found loads of weights, a pound coin in the wet sand and a 10p in the soft!! yesterday i found nothing but im still getting used to the new machine...you will have to letme know when u are down there next ,I'm gonna nag you this time!!! hahhhaaa!!

no problem i will be keeping an eye on the sands.i am sticking to one beach to learn a bit about what to look out for then i should be able to apply that knowledge to other beaches you are right about the pi machinr but be prepered to do a lot of digging Shocked i had one ooooooh my back hurts thinking about it.i was digging hair clips at 2 feet with it  Angry but i was a very powerfull machine

those rings i had last month your garret would have got,they were not deeper than 6 to 8 inches.when the moon is full i will show you were my hotspot is on the beach.i have detected all over that beach for the last 8 months but most of my gold came from one area  Wink if the old coins are available there in theory should be rings from that period  Grin
