Hi
« on: February 18, 2013, 08:30:31 PM »

My names Graham Masterton, I first started detecting in the late 70s and had an ardo 65 did most of my detecting on beaches, was a member of mold historical search society.
Iused to go beach detecting with Brian Kingsnorth I dont know if any of you know him,  most weekends.
Im fighting cancer at the moment had all my treatment and last week I had a MIR scan so im just waiting for the 27th of this month to see the consultant to see if the treament has worked.
im retired now so I thought id buy a 2nd hand detector after seeing the cost of the new ones.
Ive bought a minelab explorer xs im hopeing its a good detector,
as I know nothing about minelab.
so fingers crossed ive bought a resonable detector.
I do have one question if someone can help me with, are you still allowed to go detecting on Chester meadows ?
hope to get to know everyone soon.

Hi Graham welcome to DW. Hope you enjoy the banter. Any queries or problems just shout. Always someone ready to help.
Weather allowing detecting is a good way to enjoy a bit of fresh air and gentle excercise, enjoy. Grin

Hi Graham. Minelab are a really good unit, you should have no problem with that one. Hope everything goes well, and hope to see you on a rally soon.
