First outing ever today
Lots of farm junk ,bolts, old mink trap parts, wire, nails etc
Does anyone know what the object in the photograph is,we think its copper, its not magnetic.
2 inches long by 1 1/2 wide
The back is plain
Found an old penny also in very bad condition, not really worth a photograph.
Thanks
John

I would have said its possibly half a book hinge, the bottom right twisted metal should be faced down and would have held the pin that attached the two halfs of the hinge together.

Thanks for having a look and offering your opinions.
The land borders an old church so the casket and book hinge are both possibilities.
