Well I came to this website in order to find some help for my grand-daughter who has a metal detector and we've yet to go.   Firstly, I've had some very helpful information and sounds like we've got some fun days ahead.  So thank you again for the information.

Having said that..I've trawled the site and wow you all seem to have fun and really enjoy this hobby.   Its got me interested now too... Cheesy Maybe I'll go buy myself one and...see what digs.

thanks for the welcome everyone.    So...does that mean there's nothing left..lol.   Well winter is coming so maybe that will temper any addiction..but heck, still sounds fun.   Will definitely post if I find anything of interest...might be a long wait though. Cheesy

Oh ye of little faith. Roll Eyes   Haven't you heard of beginners luck. Not to mention that of the innocent. It's amazing how many lovelly things have been found by children, just 'having a go'
You never know. On the other hand, I didn't find anything on the beach yesterday but hey, the Sun was shining, the Sea was calm and the Sky was blue. Great.
