Hello, I found these two artefacts on todays NWDD dig. One is a Roman brooch, it still has traces of orange enamel on it. The other one I'm not sure of, I think it's medieval and possibly a type of strap end or buckle part. I've posted it in the Finds ID section. Both found on the top field. Thanks for looking, Ray

Well done Ray, nearly all the brooches from that area seem to have that orange enamel on them.

 Shocked very nice really like the roman brooch. Did you go to the very top field. As I tried the top field last year and found it very quiet
