here are my finds from sundays rally at moorlinch

was surprised to find the hammered as it was on field 3 at 5.15pm after it was done last week and others had been on the field all day ?

outlaw also found 2 hammereds and a lovely roman brooch,just goes to show you what is missed

Well done that man. You would have to be detecting very slowly as well as covering every single centimetre of ground to find that on your own first time out, or cover the field with 5 - 600 detecting at the same time to find it.

well, your first roman, with the spikes on his head!!!   Grin  is 3rd century, [250 to 300AD}, i'll leave it to the experts for a better ID!

i like the next one, with the very clear head, and look forward to learning about that one! It has the style of a 4th century coin

henry vi half penny ,calais mint or so i have been informed,i have not got any idea when it comes to most hammered coins
