right guys the coin is 28-30 mm weighs 11.5 grams and theres another pic added.

I'm a bit outside my comfort zone on this, but here are my thoughts - I may be wrong though  Shocked

First of all, I don't think it's gold, and it may not even be plated silver.

I think it's meant to be a silver half thaler of Maximilian III Josef of Bavaria. However, these don't exist for 1760 and should weigh about 14 grams.

My conclusion is that it's a repro, pssibly in base metal, but I don't know whether produced in the 18th century or much more recently.

yeah i agree ive done a few google searches and checked the pages the pics and what people are saying.
if it was gold it should weigh a lot more about 28 grams i think but still an interesting find.
