There are a couple of Minelab users in the club, so if you come to the next dig have a chat with them. They will show you how to set it up etc

i think i read somewhere minelab have discontinued the minelab se series detector if iam correct then it might be better to stay away from this machine,if anything goes wrong theyll be nowhere to get it repaired,i might be wrong but check first if you are going to buy it Smiley

Minelab have to continue parts and repairs for 12 years by law, so you shouldn't worry about that.

It's a good machine, but I found that I didn't understand it well enough when I was starting out.

I think if I had the help at the time from groups such as DW or a local club I might have found it easier, earlier.

I certainly wouldn't part with mine currently Smiley

It's even better with an Detech Ultimate coil on it Cheesy
