Just come across this wicked forum and website. My name is Anthony Thomas and i live in Merthyr Tydfil and have been a fan of metal detecting since i was a kid and have been doing it now in all about 2-3 year's. Iv even just started my own website to hopefully meet and see what others have found in the merthyr area. nice to meet you mate good to hear there's other member's here from merthyr. problem ammended with the website and if u click on link now it should be ok. it's pretty basic the website but my brother's working on it for me like i said any time you want to pop up to merthyr in the day's let me know. a fellow neighbour from brecon road, one of my best mates who i go detecting with lives in brecon road, its a small world, jump on the merthyr site and join mate and we'll speak soon. im originally from the gurnos jondav, going to get down the beaches a bit more this year to, has for cyfartha park id love to get in there but it's all council run and i dont think we have got a chance, cyfartha park has load's of history behind it and even the romans past it on their way to brecon,who know's one day. pretty close byron, pop over the mountain mate, loads of history on that mountain seperating us.
