Title: SILVER medal 1929-30 Post by: Kev on March 18, 2009, 11:00:26 AM ;D yes another medal guys . i found this the first year i started detecting at lower machen. its a silver sporting medal with Newport rugby ,below the shield it got supporters club.back of the medal its got inscribed W.J.WALL CUP.1929 '30 RISCA JUNIORS.the hall marks, an anker(birmingham),lion passant,and date letter' E' and dates the medal to 1929............................ when i was trying to find the owner of this got hold of Newport rugby club at the time , they wanted to buy it .
