Kev I've got one of those Garrett pro-pointers, bought it on eBay for a very reasonable amount, wouldn't go  detecting without it.

Hi

Use mine id say 80% of the time

My Detector it ok at pinpointing but sometimes after youve dug out your plug and the targets still in  the hole a quick run around the sides of the hole with  the pinpointer sometimes saves time .

I have got a better model down on my xmas wish list Maybe a whites or the Garrett
Just have to be good now until xmas  ;D Im not holding any bets lol

I Really felt for this english guy i met in last months Farnbrough rally.
he,s lost his new Garret and the holster.
he must have asked everyone on the field if anyone had seen it, but you know what humans are like that ended up in someones finds bag im sure.

i think any tool you can use to find the target then on to the next is a good thing

Big thumbs up to pinpointers
regards
Phil Jones

Got myself treated to the new Garrett probe for Christmas and have found it great - saves a lot of effort when you're in stony ground or with those signals which are never where they should be! Also very good for finding small bits in muddy excavated soil.

Cheers Dave. I'm very glad its easy to make. I could never get the hang of Valerie Singletons stuff on Blue Peter!

Whites Bullseye for me but it could do with being just a little shorter!

Very pleased with it though  :)
