Another find was this large stone,  it looks like its got a fossil through it of  tree Branch,  it'll be going to the mueseum for them to check out,
looks like its been worked with a hammer and chisel.

i picked up the signal from the old pick axe  that was laying along just under it,,  someone years ago may have tried to get it out  when their pick head snapped off,

Hello Napoleon my freind., another thing is, a couple of months ago i found a dull silver coloured ring, with a flat edge, not the rounded one, and it had two grooves going around it,  i thought no,  its not a ring after all,
but after looking around the jewelry books and shops for my daughter's pressie  i noticed these types of rings there,, doh  some are quite expensive too,  so it was a finger ring then.  just got to find it again now lol
 cheers boys
Alan

Love the charm bracelet Alan - is it one that has been added to over the years or a more modern variety? Cracking find - well done.

No ideas on the fossil - but its interesting

Neil

i was thinking of getting a modern one Byron,  though that one will be worth a lot lot more, lol,
it sounds like she wants a watch now though,  my niece borrowed that one for her wedding,  something borrowed ect,  don't know if i'll ever get it back,  lol should be worth quite a few £s that one,
