Title: Antiques Roadshow Post by: handyman [Alan} on July 28, 2010, 04:48:41 PM On Thursday 2 September the Antiques Roadshow will be at the British Museum (see http://www.bbc.co.uk/showsandtours/shows/beonashow/antiques (http://www.bbc.co.uk/showsandtours/shows/beonashow/antiques)).
If you happen to be in London on or around that date, you can take your artefact along [i don't mean the wife!] and possibly end up on TV. The event will also be a great way of highlighting PAS and Treasure, (especially since PAS will have a ‘stall’) and should be an interesting day out. I think the finds locked away in museums would be a real eye opener for a lot of people. Wish there was a way to access them all.
