Title: I never want to see a yellow pages again Post by: adesace on June 18, 2010, 03:47:42 PM I had a phone call last week asking me if i would like to deliver yellow pages for some cash. I thought to myself EASY MONEY so i said yes and also put the wife's name down to get another round. I went to collect the books and OH MY GOD there was hundreds of the yellow books everywhere. It took me two journey's to collect and my drive was full of em. Its taken me three days to deliver, I have ripped my shorts on a gate 20 quid my exhaust went half way round 150 quid i paid the kids 30 quid. Me and the wife are walking like john Wayne and all i am going to get off them is 165 quid...........WHAT A MISTAKE NEVER NEVER AGAIN ...........WHERE'S MY BEER GONE

I used to Run a Light Haulage/Multi drop company many moons again and when money was short i used to do the yellow pages in the Rhondda Valley. My least favorite place to deliver them was the Ranch in Treherbert its a rough Council estate at the top of the Rhondda Fawr. Ive had dogs set on me and one Beer gutted slob throw a book at me coz id annoyed his dog and woke him up , its was 3 in the afternoon.
