Today saw the return of our good friend (and one of our top posters) to detecting since January.....Casa dos  (Kev)

Beautiful sunny ,warm day, he came out down to Abergavenny with his partner Ann to have a bit of detecting therapy.
Between them, they some how managed the detector, a crutch, a spade the headphones and found a couple of things. At least it was a start....and was great to see him out. Poor Ann did all the digging and still waited on him during our break.
Great to see him back ;)

Soon be out all the time...ps (I think Ann's a better detectorist ;D)

thanks for your messages everyone ;),yes AUNTIE ANN took me over to land that FARMER PHIL as got we arrived at 10am FARMER PHIL, MELONHEAD,SILKY who  iv meet for the first time nice guy to, it was Ann's first time on the detecting front as well ,i did think i would only last a hour at the most but that turned into 4 hours ;D i detected with one hand and used other hand to supported my leg with the shovel to walk ;D Ann done most of the digging and the ground was quite hard to, also gave Ann some tips on detecing which Ann did enjoy,we never found a lot lead,old penny,more lead,and a three leaf clover type badge?........Auntie Ann enjoyed her first detecting outing and i certainly did even thou i only covered a bit of ground as i cant walk far really ..........not there yet but its a start  ;) i would like to thank Farmer Phil for the invite,and also AUNTIE ANN for her bril support on my recovery and for getting me out there in the field for helping me have a go again at the hobby i love ;)

Well done Kev. Great to see you out again my man. DW rallies and detecting in general is not the same without you. How did it feel to be back out there and 4 hours as well. Great to see Ann and the boys supporting you and I wish I could have been there but the boss said I should spend time with the kids which is fair enough. Well done again Kev.

thanks PAUL ;),great to have got back out in the field even tho not to the way i would like it ,don't like ANN doing the digging but that the way it as to be at the mo.at least i can do a little bit of detecting ,Ann enjoyed the outing so i think she will be coming out even when I'm back to  strength. ;)
