Title: Silver Ingot
Post by: 150aceboy on May 17, 2010, 01:38:36 PM
Had an hour out this morning, while the Mrs done the shopping lol  :)
Had a few predecimals, halfpenny's, three penny bit, and some modern coinage, 16 in total.
Anyway i had nine horses around me, which were driving my nuts, so decided to keep the detector on, but make my way home.
Only got about 10 yards from the horses when i found this little ingot, really pleased with it.
Don't know anything on the hallmarks, so if anyone knows anything on the marks, would love to hear from you.
Ace  ;)

Well found Paul, the hallmarks show that it was made by Pringle and sons in Sheffield in 1977.
