Title: SWINGING THAT DETECTOR Post by: Kev on May 05, 2010, 03:31:58 PM as iv been to tenby and was sat with auntie Ann on a bench in saundersfoot front (like Grannie and grampa) ;D watching this man detecting on the beach not to far away ,could not get over is swing it was so high off the ground don't think he would have got many signals at all ??? ::)......... iv brought this subject up in the past about how high some folks swing their detectors ,had to mention it again after seeing this happen when i was away ...............".KEEP IT LOW " ;) ;D

My personal favourites (because I used to be one) are the people who have the stem extended so long they're scanning three feet in front of them. Then, after an hour, they're wondering, "Why is my arm aching?" Weight isn't a major problem with a light weight detector but i i should imagine you'd see a big difference with an Explorer |
