Title: My First Florin Post by: 150aceboy on April 28, 2010, 09:27:24 PM Went out for a couple of hours today with my son ( coinhunter ) , to a local common, had the normal modern pennies and 2p's, £1 coin, etc. Due to it being so hot we decided to have a break in the shade.
Sitting down talking about what we would like to find, i said a nice silver coin would do me. Anyhow we set up again, and only walked about 5 foot forward when i had a great signal, it is a first for me , my very first Florin 1929, i was absolutely chuffed as punch. Last Sunday at Bristol I was praying under my breath to go home with some Silver And out two popped in half an hour. Mutter a few prays under your breath mate and they will jump out at you. ;D ;D ;D
