Title: DFX Pasture Program (DeeP) Post by: ORDOVIC on April 04, 2010, 09:48:25 AM I have been experimenting lately with a new program I have made for the DFX using the stock coil on pasture with moderate Iron contamination.
The program is very deep seeking and has found me a Hammered Coin at 8" with a good two way signal. I would like to point out that the program as yet.. is not suitable for sites with a lot of Iron as it very hard to distinguish the good tones from the bad because of the high AC and PRE-AMP settings but I am working on that with different coils and I will post the program once I have sorted out a stable one. Target Volume 52 Audio Threshold 17-22 (I don,t use headphones) Target Tone 230 Audio Disc ON Silent Search OFF Mixed Mode OFF A/C Sensitivity 74 D/C Sensitivity 35 Backlight OFF Viewing Angle 30 Ratchet Pinpoint OFF S.A.T Speed 5 Tone ID ON V.C.O ON Modulation OFF (Deep signals will be loud when off) Autotrac ON (Switch OFF in low mineralized ground after first ground balance stage,re-ground balance by holding trigger and pressing ENTER every now and them to keep unit in balance). Trac View ON Autotrac Speed 5-8 Autotrac Offset +1 Trac Inhibit ON Course G.E.B AUTO Fine G.E.B AUTO Block Edit Accept -84 TO +95 Block Edit Reject -95 TO -85 Learn Accept OFF Learn Reject OFF Recovery Speed 23-27 Bottle Cap Reject 1 Hot Rock Reject 0-10 Sweep Speed 3 Ground Filtering 3-4 Visual Disc ON Icons OFF V.D.I Sensitivity 85 D.C Phase OFF Graph Averaging ON Graph Accumulate ON Fade Rate 8 Preamp Gain 3-4 (Use 4 if possible,this setting will amplify weak signals) 2 Frequency Best Data ON 2 Frequency Correlate OFF V.D.I Normalize ON 1 Frequency 3KHz OFF 1 Frequency 15KHz OFF If you decide to use the program please let me know how you get on with it as different soil conditions in certain areas will have an affect on the program and I would like to know what adjustments were made for your particular site.
