Title: Anyone help with this one?
Post by: hedgehog on March 05, 2009, 12:01:37 PM
A detecting mate from Gloucester (technophobe and not a member of a club) sent me a text about one of his finds yesterday it goes-:

"Found a nice T.Becket bell just under 2 inches high with saint on side !"

Now i have suggested to him that it may be THE T. Becket but don't know where to look to confirm this any help would be appreciated, he will be posting me a photo which I will put up on here when it arrives. Hope you can help!

Thanks for the advice Spooyt but the problem is museums etc; are so slow to respond (that's if they don't lose what you have sent them!).
I was hoping that someone on here would be aware of a quicker route. :D
