brill program detectorists were portrayed in a good light, the farmer said that two lads had already been on the farm and found nothing!!!!!! :D :D -oops can you imagine how they must feel :-\ :-\  gutted!!!!! by now they must know for sure , perhaps there were so many signals  on the field that they thought it was a farm dump  and walked away   ;D ;D(Ive done that myself and moved to somewhere quieter) , if that happened to you would you tell the missus ? :D : ;D

I'd tell the missus then say with a shrug of the shoulders "Thats the field i was going to go in on the day you wanted the living room painted  ::)"
Doubt i would ever have trouble going out again  ;D
i'd also leave a broucher for the new minelab out on the coffee table.  ;D ;D ;D
