Hi Pete,can find out what this is,checked the book but nothing like the emblem in the middle of the cross,its a bit worn,good luck.paul.its with a 5 pence.

Well found. I'm not sure if that's a C or a D in the centre of the reverse. I think it could be a Canterbury halfpenny of Edward IV. Any chance of sharper/ higher res pics and please can you give the exact size?
