Title: My First Bull Head Shilling Post by: 150aceboy on February 14, 2010, 07:24:02 PM Went out today for a couple of hours, same place as last time, found my first George III Bull Head Shilling 1817, a bit worn on reverse, but at least i found one. Rob Tafflaff told me only a couple of days ago that i'd get one soon, Thanks Taff mate ;)
I also found - 1 x George III Farthing - 1773 1 x George III Halfpenny - date unknown 1 x George IV Penny - 1825 1 x QV Halfpenny - 1888 1 x George V Halfpenny - 1916 2 x Lead bag seals 1 x Shoe Buckle ( Brocken ) 2 x Large Harness Buckles 1 x Button And last but not least, a mystery object, this is the large object in pic. It originally had a pin through top, which allowed it to swing back and fo. Would love if anyone could possibly let us know what it is and possible date.
