I think that's awesome, that someone came up with that idea and made it nearly 2000 years ago.
Thats the reason i love this hobby, some of the intricate things that turn up,then you realise "how old :o" how did they do that!

it's a wonderful object, well designed, clearly thought out as a practical tool. such ingenuity!
