Title: My Finds from today, Tuesday19th Jan Post by: Al.Thepastfinder, ( Alan ) on January 19, 2010, 04:55:03 PM I decided to go out for a couple of hours this afternoon before the rain comes in,
as i may not have a lot of time i went to a local field that has a long slope on it, Its very popular with people sledging when the snow is down, I thought i'd have a little look there and then drift about, and sure to enough i came across quite a few modern coins on the surface now the snow has gone from them, i also dug a couple of pre -dec coppers, when i drifted away from there to the other side of the field i came a cross 2 old pennies and a Silver Half Crown in the same hole,, nice one, its been a while since i found a Silver Half Crown so i was pleased with this one, i also found an oval horse Brass and a small brass candle holder or something lol.
