Title: My finds from today 18/01/2010 Post by: 150aceboy on January 18, 2010, 09:32:03 PM Out detecting today with LoveDoc, drizzly rain most of the time, but we had a great time.
Found my first Vicky Penny 1866, three cut Halfpennys ( puzzled me why their cut ), a nice Half Crown, Buckle plate thingy, 4 musket balls ( again my first ), a little lead seal ( shown in pic next to a 5p ), and a few modern coins. Also, don't forget to take a GPS recording of the find spots and plot them on an O/S map, or google earth - as it helps build up a picture of what has been happening on the field and in the area.
