Title: Goodbye Jack Flook R.I.P
Post by: Al.Thepastfinder, ( Alan ) on January 18, 2010, 05:26:08 PM
I attended Jack's funeral this afternoon, Tony and Elaine Maz also attended from the Rhondda Club., Also his freinds from the Pontyclun Group,  Nice to meet up with you all again too guys,
The Pontyclun Group threw some Roman coins in on the coffin  for Jack to part with,
Elaine had ordered and had sent a nice  Bouquet of flowers from the Rhondda club,
Jack was a quiet, giggly charactor who was liked by everyone who knew him, he passed away in his wife's arms at 12.45 a.m. on the 30th of January 2008. aged 83.

went back for a nice big Buffet after,  , wow i haven't eaten so much for a long time, thanks Jack, i needed that mate lol.  Phil, missed out again though, doh.

When i was growing up in Penygraig i had a friend from Williamstown/Edmondstown
called Dai Flook he would be around 45 year old now,
its not a common sirname he must be related  to Jack
Ton is only just down the road from Edmondstown

Thanks Alan for those kind words, it was a great send off for a great bloke, thanks to all who attended, i know it is difficult sometimes to rearrange things, i beleive his sons and daughter grew up in Gilfach Goch. Farewell from all the Pontyclun group, Jack, you will be sadly missed, R.I.P.
