Title: In Memory of Jack Flook, Rare Club
Post by: Al.Thepastfinder, ( Alan ) on January 01, 2010, 04:39:09 PM
I met an Ex Rare Club member last night who told me that Jack Flook had died on Wednesday 30th of December,
He was made an Honerary Member of the Rare Club about 10 years ago,
he was also a Member of the Scan Club a few Years ago, and a member of the Pontyclun Group,
Jack was in his early Eighies and would often be seen detecting Porthcawl and Barry beaches with his dog,
He was a popular member of the rare club that at one time he attended reguarly.
 Rest In Peace  Jack

I never new Jack, it's always sad for any loss, especially at this time of year, My thoughts and condolences go out to his relatives.
As an RARE and Scan Club member i'm sure he's up in Heaven teaching the angels how to pinpoint and back-fill their holes  ;)

Thanks for all the kind thoughts and wishes in memory of Jack Flook, what a great bloke, i ca'nt see many of us still detecting at 82 years of age, he was my friend and detecting buddy, he travelled for years from Tonyrefail to Ferndale to attend the R.A.R.E. club meetings, and when the travelling got too much he joined us at Pontyclun. The result of the P.M. was natural causes and the Funeral due to the Christmas backlog is not until Monday the 18th of January at Trane cemetery around 1pm, exact time to be confirmed. Condolences to Wife connie and children, hope we can meet up and give him the send off he deserved, R.I.P,             Dennis Lang..
