No Mick it weighs a couple of ounces therefore to heavy for a brooch. I have a better image here also I cleaned up what I thought was just a lump of mud and metal and it turned out to be another horse slightly bigger with the rider missing... I love finding lead toys and have built up quite the collection including bizzarely a Deer, a Cow and a St Bernard! Along with the usual horses, soldiers and guardsmen.
