He did this with a Code of Conduct sticky thread, but that was clearly either ignored or misunderstood.
I as a forum member I would personally rather see one stern post hang around for a week, than a Dozen posts bickering over the same subjects day in day out. I know you're not knocking the post Dave and that you have DW's best interests at heart, I'm certainly not having a go at you. Just bear with it a little longer fella as some members do not log on as often as us regulars.
