Title: 1863 Penny Post by: ancientpat on November 13, 2009, 05:16:14 PM Does anybody have an 1863 Victorian Penny in their grot box as one was sold in auction recently for £22,230 !!!!and it was pretty worn. Why it was so special was the number 3 in the date was classed as a "slender " 3 and given a rarity rating of R20 whatever that means, so get searching lads and lassies.
