even ive had it on a smaller scale . ive lent my detector to someone who had never detected before and just asked "can i have a go " of course yes is my reply only for them to walk a few feet and find a gold ring :) then to keep it never even offering me a drink ??? >:( not wanting to fall out over money i let it go :-\ however it was only a vicy gypsy ring worth 220 back then i dont know the outcome if it had been 100s of gold coins . again this happened with someone else :( same thing "can i have a go " yes , gold ring and no thought of me . needless to say i relly avoid letting ppol have a go now witch is a real shame and neither of the ppol went on to getting in to detecting :-\ . so it a warning to choose so careful who you trust to be fair .
