Title: new to this lark
Post by: Tafflaff (Rob) on February 02, 2009, 08:59:06 PM
Hi there bought my detector last year late autumn. A whites dfx. I've only used it in relic mode so far. I've managed to find some newish coins on a beach and found a bullet shell dont know how old it was , on southerndown beach near the low wateredge. I've also tried sully beach and found a short curved piece of bronze with striped markings on it, maybe nothing. I was lucky last october to phone a few farms in the pontypridd area and two farmers give me permission to search. Quite big farms as well. Found a cartwheel penny I think date was 1796 on it . Anyway any advice would be greatly appreciated especially on the dfx settings.
