Title: Condition Of Coins
Post by: Jonola (Jon) on October 06, 2009, 07:37:13 PM
How is it that you can find a coin in one part of a field that is in cracking condition and a hundred yards away a coin of roughly the same date is  a disc or virtually featureless? I've heard it put down to organo phosphate fertilisers and suchlike but anyone else any ideas? clay soil, peat soil? What are your ideas and experiences? What are the best soils and the worst!
