I used Lighthouse Copper Coin Cleaning fluid, a toothpick and some TLC. Quick buff and voila.....Do you reckon I can still swap it for a bag of coal?

Found a 1927 Penny in remarkable condition nearby. Beats the normal grots I get! Bought the copper cleaning fluid and it did the trick. Any further info much appreciated! Be interesting to know if your dad ever saw one Phil.
