I am trying to help promote the site through other channels at the moment and it would help me to know how you all first found out about DetectingWales.com Theres a Press Release going out next week to the trade publications and Welsh newspapers (one from each area of Wales), some more merchandising being launched and a few more ideas. Post by: Charles Cater on January 23, 2009, 03:09:53 PM When I was president of the Wrexham Metal Detecting Club we had a logo printed on cloth so that it could be stitched on to our jackets if we went to a Rally.
This is the logo here. It is 120mm x 73mm and stood out like a sore thumb.Mind you, it was anly £1 then to buy at cost so I would expect it to be more now. Post by: simon c on January 23, 2009, 06:47:42 PM Neil,i think the main channel for most of us has been other web sites and forum's,the advert in the trade press is definately a good idea,but i'm not so sure about general press advertising ::) it could drum up interest but also cause problems at the same time,just a thought.

It's nice to see it had some effect. Thanks for the feedback, we'll try to upload a few more DetectingWales.com videos to Youtube.
