Title: Detecting Tumpy Field
Post by: vitallius (Dave) on September 28, 2009, 09:47:52 AM
Hi all, well just an update,Ive not been out much due to circumstances so Im hopeing to make the next rally fingers crossed, its been a while. Anyway been catching up on the posts and as usual some nice finds made by all nice to see ;D I tried Tumpy field again but absolutely nothing came to surface except a few cartridges couldnt believe it, the only finds I had was from the last pics i posted, looks like the feild has played out,was talking to a guy who looks after the Pheasants around the land, and having had a conversation with him he told me that he was suprised of some of the things I had found previously ,due to the fact that his words, the fields had been done to death over the years and quite a bit had been found Got to admit a little dissapointed, but at least it did get me out,.So I can understand why Ive never found any roman or Hammies, what ever is left if anything is going to be hard to locate I would think, anyway hope I may see you all at the next rally, keep the finds and pics coming well done again to all ;D ;D ;D......Dave
