Title: some new museum exhibition pix

 Twas nice to meet some of the club Members Down at the museum this morning,
 Mel, haven't we met before though, didn't you used to be a member of the Rhondda club,
i tried for some different pix, still awkward though.

Opening Hours:-

Monday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm

 HI Digger,  iv'e been detecting for about 20 years mate, but its only in the last 10 years i found most of  this stuff,
 got lots more, but not enough room there,

That's an impressive display Al, must have taken a lot of time to decide what and how and thousands of hours of detecting!

HI Paul,  yes i am Mate, its not many who can say they have had their finds on display in a museum like this,   even though its only a small part of the collection.
they are still looking to try and buy a replica axehead or axeheads  to show people what they were like as new and for people to hold,
they may have to hold some of mine on the 18th  when i'll be talking to a group down there, then on to a Roman Marching camp.  more on that nearer to the time,

i was thinking if i knew when you'd be going down i'd try and meet you down there,  but other than calling in with my 2 young grandsons on Monday, and nipping in at 10 on wednesday i can't see me getting another chance this week mate,

Are your finds staying in the museum Alan? I will have to try to get down there one saturday & have a look at your great finds.

 Hello Stig,  they have got it on loan till the end of the month,  i haven't asked exactly what date,  don't know if they will want the cases empty a day or so befor so they can prepare the following one or not,  i'll have to find out

hmmmmm iv' got my youngest grandson on thursday, i usually take him swimming in the morning, then to nursery dinner time, then pick up the other one from school & bring then back for tea,
 the gas board are coming to change my gas meter on friday morning, then i was going to go swimming,
 i'll see how it goes Paul

Nice display alan went there at 10 am this morning the pictures do not do it justice.if you get chance alan take some pictures when the protective cover of the display case comes of and post them mate.

  Arrr Thanks Ian,  i must have just missed you, i got there about 10.45, waited a while at the bus station  for the rain to ease first as i had the kids with me,.
yeah i did try that one pic without the cover when it was nearly finnshed   it was a bit better,   awkward angles, can't get high enough
