Title: Can anyone help with an I.D on this please?
Post by: BottyBurp (Kris) on December 04, 2008, 04:43:23 PM
I found this item about 3 years ago and still don't know what it is!
It's not a cap badge as it's to heavy & it's also about the diameter of a tea cup.
Your thoughts please?

It looks to me that it might have military origins, is that lettering around the edge?

Richy.

Hiya Richy
Yes, it is lettering but I can't make out what it says.
I think that it may have possibly been fitted to a vehicle or something!

Hi Burp

Try pressing it into something soft like blue tac
sometimes things are easier to read if its a uniformed colour
Nice find  ;0)
