This one came up the other day and i can imagine a bit of work went into making it as close up its quit intricate. Any ideas as to a possible age? Thanks. It was in great nick compared to others we have found. Got quiet a collection of the big silver ones coming, mostly blank but some do have nice patterns when cleaned. I have one part of a field that I have dug over 500 buttons from - and whilst most are blank those other ones make up for it, but in general I don't really know how to date them beyond a particular century :) |
