Just show casing some of my "finds"   :)

This ones actually quite rare. Its a Victorian replica of the Alfred  Jewel , Probably Elliot Stock , made for the millennium anniversary since King Alfred The Great.
I gave this one a soak in a hot sonic cleaner for 2 hrs. Next I gave it gentle polish on my polisher. Back into hot sonic cleaner 5 minutes to get rid of any get off any residual polish compound. Quick dip into weak acid solution and then straight into de ionised water . Then off to my Gold Plater  :)..
.. i think its come out quite nice👌

It's certainly come up a lot nicer than the initially images. You've done a good job there :)

Hey Hey It’s Naughty Nobby. How you doing ?

Keeping the grey matter active by the look of it. I didn’t know they made a replica for his anniversary.
Did you find it ? If you did I bet it nearly stopped your heart never mind giving it a flutter.
Excellent job on renovating it. Looks better than the original. Is it the centre piece of your collection ? Lovely 👍

Yes you did Greg. Last episode of series 1 (I think, but might have been 2) I can see it now. Like a lot of us he had a signal on the way back to the car.
In the words of the signature song ‘I’ll be your treasure & I’m waiting for you’

Or maybe it was Nobby 😂
