Having spent 4 years at school in Brecon, I remember well seeing the bad weather around Brecon, but it was usually better there :) - mind you I was saying to people this week, I remember school being shut early towards the end of Feb most years due to the snow we used to get there :) Title: Re: stormy weather Post by: outlaw on February 09, 2020, 08:54:56 PM Well it got quite grim.
By lunch time finds were quite scarce except for a few pre decimal coins. Most decided that the wind and rain was toomuch and left. I stayed till 3.00pm having changed 4 times, one feels a few manuafacturers should have worn what was supposed to be waterproof coats. We were in a very roman area and one had the distinct feeling that a few hundred had been detecting b4 us ;) Detecting for me will always be the thrill of the chase ;D Tomorrow another day, hopefully dry. |
