Title: Celtic Gold
Post by: celticspikey on September 22, 2019, 07:11:00 PM
The Nox does it again, another Dobunic Corio Gold, from a different farm but a short distance from my last Gold one...This one is weak on the inscription but definitely a Corio.....I shall be covering this find in an article and other finds, for Harry and the team at the Searcher so stay tuned....if your not subscribed to the Searcher why not.. :o ;) ;)

That's a beauty, well done,
On the Nox, what sort of reading did you get on that, most of my finds, silver etc are popping up around 13/14 but as yet i haven't found any gold YET....
Cheers

That is a beautiful coin Paul. Looks like it’s just been struck.

Enough to make the rest of us find another less frustrating hobby. Of corse I’m not the least jealous 🥴🤢

Fantastic finds again Paul.  The rest of us mere mortals can only dream of unearthing something so historic and beautiful.
Well done on the finds and for keeping the farmer sweet.  It certainly helps to keep hold of what is obviously a prolific site.
Cheers and happy digging!!!!  Tom.

Nice find again :) - good to see what numbers it turned up on. I'm thinking the Nox seems to provide numbers almost on the thickness of the material you are detecting (plus an offset depening on the material).
