Don't have a picture yet but I found a tiny coin copper/bronze with Scottish Thistle on one side and looks like "IIII" with crown above? and E? R on either side. Smaller than a 5p piece. You helped me in the right direction as it looked like an E R but I can see it is an I R for James. However, it is not a coin, I have just found an example on PAS: https://finds.org.uk/database/artefacts/record/id/225914 I will post a picture of mine at some point. Jon |
