Title: Penanular Brooch
Post by: celticspikey on March 30, 2019, 07:33:18 AM
Thank you to the Badger who left this Penanular Brooch outside it's set. Late Iron Age/ Early Roman.  The hammy is a first of this field in all the years I've searched it.

Well spotted Paul. I always have a kick at any new Mole Hills I see, just in case.
Nice Edward, whichever one it is. I never know the difference.

I spent the afternoon trying to be productive in a different area. Strawberries  !
All sorted now.cleaned up, weeded and well fed. Should get some nice ones again this year, weather allowing.

It gives us all hope Paul :)

I found my first hammy in a particular field last year - a commonwealth penny - but now the farmer is just harrowing, and it was one of the last fields that produced anything on that farm.
